Freeride, Backcountry, Ski Mountaineer
Owen Leeper was born in Aspen, Colorado. He began skiing when he was four quickly began jumping off everything he could find on the mountain. While attending the University of Colorado, Owen competed in slopestyle and half-pipe events. After moving backing to Aspen after college he began taking on more ski mountaineering and big mountain lines. Pushing his limits in the backcountry with the tricks he learned in the terrain park, Owen loves flipping off anything he can find. He later moved to Jackson, Wyoming to search for bigger lines and more expert terrain at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. During the season he skis mostly at the resort and the sidecountry hitting massive 90-foot cliffs and highspeed straight lines down couloirs. Once the resort season ends, he climbs and skis the high peaks of the Tetons. Owen chases snow well into July documenting his activities with tons of photos and videos on Instagram and YouTube.
My biggest front flip to date, such an awesome feeling flying through the air! PC: Jana Rogers
