Icelantic has come down from the mountains! Colorado grown ski maker, Icelantic AT Boards has relocated its global headquarters from Evergreen, CO to the heart of the Mile High City. The new Icelantic headquarters will be a combination art gallery, sales showroom, retail shop and offices and will be open for business at the new location 948 W. 8th Ave (one block west of Santa Fe's Art District) on Friday September 7th, 2007. "We feel this move will allow us awesome exposure to the general public as well as be a great addition to Denver's art (and ski) scene." Says Icelantic founder Ben Anderson, 25 "There's a great (and growing) market for originality in art - there's an even bigger market for originality and innovation in the ski industry. Denver is a perfect spot for us to show people that we have what they've been looking for. We're super pumped to get involved with the community, share our art and skis with so many new people and help local artists launch their art journey - we're going to have some pretty phenomenal work in here that I think will touch a lot of skiers and art lovers alike!" The Icelantic Gallery combines the ski and art worlds in an innovative, synergistic way. It will feature new exhibits monthly from local artists as well as original art by Icelantic's Head Artist Travis Parr, who has exhibited in Space Gallery, Denver, Space Junk Gallery Grenoble France ( The gallery will also feature the "Art of Ski Making" told in detailed photos by Jeff Nass (Transworld Snowboarder, Thrasher); a retail shop featuring Icelantic's current ski line, apparel and prints of the skis original artwork; a show room for interested dealers and, offices for Icelantic's employees. Since Icelantic was awarded the ISPO "Best Hardgood of the Year" award in 2006 in Munich Germany, it has been pushing the limits in the ski industry and in the art world and now has distribution in 8 countries and over 60 US shops. The Icelantic Gallery will open it's doors for Santa Fe Artwalk's "First Friday" on Friday September 7th at 6pm. There will be killer art, one-of-a kind skis, live entertainment by local band "Paper Bird" and complimentary refreshments.
