Bora Bora Round 1 - Icelantic X Moorings - French Polynesian Sailing Adventure - Blog Entry #4

MANA:(noun) The power of the elemental forces of nature embodied in an object or person June 6th: Raised anchor after sunrise to Passe Papai and sailed downwind to Bora Bora. We stayed on a Mooring ball at The Bora Bora Yacht Club. “There's no thrill in easy sailing when the skies are clear and blue, there's no joy in merely doing things which anyone can do. But there is some satisfaction that is mighty sweet to take, when you reach a destination that you never thought you'd make”

Mana and moral vibrated throughout the boat today as we prepared to make our longest passage to the infamous island of Bora Bora. We cleared the Passe Papai at sunrise, with Sam, Niles and Ben fighting the wind as they raised the main. Four rough hours downwind, we coasted into our home for the next night on a Mooring ball at The Bora Bora Yacht Club. We set out to pick up the remaining three of the crew from the airport and enjoyed a wonderful fresh water pool dip and glass of wine at the yacht club. http://imgur.com/vHE3jED,1DdJJuA,6L71TJf http://imgur.com/vHE3jED,1DdJJuA,6L71TJf#1 http://imgur.com/vHE3jED,1DdJJuA,6L71TJf#2 To start your own adventure go to The Moorings To find shades just like the ones seen in the videos check out Zeal Optics
