Kirsten Rowley
Freeride, Backcountry
Recognized for her contagious smile and high stoke factor- Kirsten Rowley is a good one to get on the chairlift with for a pow day. She is a professional athlete and ski model looking for the steep, fast lines based out of Mt Baker in Bellingham, WA. She has been featured in Backcountry Magazine, Fall-Line and the Avalanche Review. Rowley grew up competing in downhill FIS/NORAM circuits around the western US and Canada out of the back of an old church van with a coach who had long hair and loved rock-n-roll music. Now she explores the north cascades backcountry and greater Pacific Northwest via mountain bikes, horses, sailboats, and skis while writing stories for the blog Stoke Alive. Her goal is to continuously share what the mountains have to offer and to keep ski culture true to what it is.
