Bruce Ruff started skiing at age three. He spent 14 years skiing on the pro mogul tour starting in 1978 when he moved to Colorado from upstate New York. He has been a fully sponsored skier every year since. Bruce has taught skiing and had a segment on Resort Sports Network for twelve years titled "Better Skiing with Bruce Ruff " as well as writing a ski column for the Summit Daily News. After skiing on the mogul tour Bruce started skiing for a pool of photographers and videographers landing photos on the covers of magazines, billboards,posters and other marketing brochures. Bruce has been an athlete for Icelantic for 11 years. Bruce is married with two teenagers and they all love to ski and snowboard.
Bruce competed in the very first ESPN X-games in the summer of 1995 in the downhill on in-line skates.
Bruce has reached 72 mph on in-lines and was featured in the first edition of ESPN magazine.
