Emilie Brown

Meet Emilie! She is an ex-competitive mogul skier turned all-mountain skier. Emilie first started on skis at the age of two and eventually got introduced to Freestyle Skiing. She spent most of her childhood as an athlete on the Jasper Freeride Ski Team competing and training in both moguls and slopestyle. At age 15, Emilie earned a spot on the Alberta Mogul Team, shifted her focus to high level sport, and began competing internationally for 10 years. Following battle injuries, Emilie eventually transitioned into becoming the head coach for the Edmonton Freestyle Ski Team. Since becoming the Edmonton Freestyle Ski Team’s head coach, Emilie spends her winter week days in the city coaching and behind the scenes running the club and the weekends in the mountains skiing all-mountain terrain.

Fun Facts

Fun Fact! Emilie is a newly graduated Physical Therapist from the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. As an ex-athlete, Emilie was exposed to the rehab world at a young age and quickly developed a passion for physical therapy. 

When not on the hill, Emilie enjoys spending her time in the clinic treating patients and promoting wellness and active living!
