Kalissa Lolos
Freeride, All Mtn
Having never seen a mountain until her early 20’s, Kalissa doesn’t have your typical ski journey. Toronto born, she was a high-level gymnast for 15 years; training 30 hours a week by 7 years of age. A career-ending injury forced Kalissa to switch to trampoline, winning Canada Cup Championships in her first year. After meeting freestyle skiers while coaching trampoline, she dropped everything and drove to Whistler BC to pursue skiing. Kalissa started a business called Kaliber Coaching where she trained skiers and snowboarders of all disciplines. She was hired as the youngest female learning facilitator to run the Air 1&2 coaching courses for Freestyle Canada. Kalissa's been featured in SBC skier magazine and has starred in online how-to videos for Ski Addiction. Kalissa started another business called Preserved Art which has been featured in ski gear and her jewelry will be sold on Icelantic's online platform and in stores.
