Rachel Croft

Freeride

Known for skiing fast and rarely turning, Rachel Croft won two Sickbird Awards as she straightlined her way onto the Freeride World Tour. An unlucky crash just before the Verbier Xtreme Finals resulted in three knee surgeries, which have sidelined her for the last couple winters. Time off from competition has allowed Rachel to become an International Freeskiing and Snowboartding Association judge and to return to coaching the junior athletes of the Winter Park Freeride Team. She has also moved her massage therapy practice into a physical therapy clinic in order to focus on athlete rehabilitation, a field she has become very dedicated to as a result of her injury. Rehab from her latest surgery is on track to get her back on snow in 2021, and she plans to return to competition soon after.
