Scotty is Icelantic's longest standing athlete hailing from the pre-market era of Icelantic. The story began when he spotted a pair of first generation Icelantic Skis in 2004, the Scout and claimed "these skis were built for me". Scotty has been the Team Manager at Icelantic for well over ten years now and continues to lead the team as an athlete and team captain. He is also a real captain. He holds a USCG 50GT license as the other half of his career revolves around sailing. He has one more Captain accolade on his resume as well, as he is a winner and member of the Powder Magazine Captain's Cup award.
They say that dynamite comes in small packages. This 5’2” ball of energy is known for adding his own quickness, style, and creativity across all terrain. Scotty’s skiing has been featured over the years in Icelantic’s original films and photos. He has also worked as an athlete for Zeal, Flylow, and Alta Ski Area for many years.
I am a USCG 50 Ton Captain, lifelong sailor, and Executive Director at Park City Sailing.
