Shannon jumped into skiing later than most. Learning to ski in the Adirondacks at age 14 before stepping onto the freeski scene just 4 years later at Eldora. She spent the last eight years coaching freestyle and honing her skills in parks and around the mountain. She soon found her passion for big lines, and taking her creativity to the back bowls. After blowing her knee during a big air comp in March 2019, the subsequent two knee surgeries, and 20 months of rehab, Shannon is looking to make this season her biggest as she heads into the 2021 Freeride World Tour Qualifier series.
Shannon is a Freeski coach and Mountain bike coach for Aspen Valley Ski Club.
