Zoe Hertz
Zoe spent the first 18 years of her life ski racing before finally making the switch to the world of freeride, which was inspired at the time by her older brother and many close friends that could throw down in the park. She competed in big mountain before moving to the west coast to complete her degree in International Relations at UBC. Due to a crash while riding Whispark in the spring, Zoe has spent this past year off skis as she nears the end of a long year of rehab after receiving two knee surgeries. She kept herself sane throughout this process by recently switching the direction of her career to a focus in film. When not on skis, you can usually find Zoe on her motorbike or surfing on Vancouver Island.
