The Life Of A Nomadic Skier - Julian Carr Checks In About His Epic Season Skiing All Over The Globe

"This winter has been a good one, started in Europe pre-Christmas, enjoyed some early season powder in Arlberg, Solden, & Obertauern before the crowds showed up.  Onward to Japan, enjoyed some deep pow and all-time culture.  Then back to Europe, enjoyed Zillertal valley in Austria, and Engelberg & Zermatt, Switzerland.  Bringing me back to the states, each year I visit Grand Targhee resort with some college buddies, I was about to head out when I got a text from Owen Leeper in Jackson, he sent me the forecast, Jackson was calling for over four feet of snow in the coming five days.  I'm glad I stuck around.  I hadn't skied Jackson all that much until this trip, but I was on the O.Leeps program, crashing his spare bed, keeping up with him at Jackson isn't the easiest task haha.  It was an intense week of learning the flow of Jackson, taking down some really fun airs with Owen, plenty of pow skiing for the soul, and hiking our tails off daily to study, ski, air.  I call Owen the cyborg, he would eat a bowl of Captain Crunch every morning, pack a small granola bar for 'lunch' every day.  Bell to bell days became routine, heavy dose of nachos after a full day, find dinner after we took the bus back to Owens, repeat.  Big thanks to Owen for the hospitality, big thanks to mother earth for all the snow, allowing us to tick a few airs off!"
